Turtle Pond
This four-acre pond is an excellent place to explore, swim, or boat.  Turtle Pond attracts a variety of wildlife including migratory birds, fish, and turtles.

The "Boogie Barn" is one of Walker Creek Ranch's oldest buildings--over 100 years old!  This large open space is perfect for dancing, large indoor games, and provides a rustic yet elegant space for dining.

Sporting Facilities
A variety of traditional sporting facilities include a regulation size sand Volleyball court, Basketball, Softball back stop, and even some more specialty games such as a GAGA!  Our field is a large open space perfect for games and outdoor gatherings.

Picnic Areas

If you’re feeling like enjoying some time outdoors, but aren't up for a big hike, enjoy one of our many picnic areas around campus.  With beautiful surroundings, these picnic areas offer a peaceful place to connect to nature with easy access to our lodges. 

Natural History Museum
An excellent place to learn and explore, our Natural History Museum showcases Miwok artifacts, local ecology, native fauna, and includes a variety of beautiful taxidermy displays.  This is a wonderful place to for children and adults to investigate and learn.

Challenge Course 

Our professionally constructed challenge course is an excellent place for groups to experience physical and mental challenges to learn about communication, work with one another, and experience personal growth.  With 8 low ropes course elements, including a low V, tension traverse, and spider’s web there are a variety of elements your group can experience.  All Challenge Course activities are supervised by trained Walker Creek Ranch staff.


Hiking Trails
With over 20 miles of hiking trails, the Walker Creek Ranch property is a beautiful place to enjoy rolling hills, wooded forests, meadows, peaks, and year-round creek.  If you are feeling energetic, take a trip to Walker Peak, where you can enjoy views of the Pacific Ocean, Tomales Bay, and Point Reyes. 


Garden & Animals
Our half-acre organic garden is a beautiful space for education, production, and relaxation. Enjoy some of the fruit and vegetables in our Dining Hall.  Our barnyard animals (three goats and two sheep) enjoy your company, and of course their open space pasture.


We have two amphitheaters to fit the needs of your group.  Our main amphitheater can fit approximately 300, where our streamside amphitheater holds approximately 40.  Both have a fire pit, and ample stage space for songs, stories, and community gatherings.
